On May 20, Wang Zhenjiang, Chairperson of Shandong HealthCare Group, led a delegation to visit COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and held talks with Qian Weizhong, Chairperson of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), and Zhu Changyu, President of the company.

Qian Weizhong shared an overview of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)'s recent business performance and its planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan. He noted that Shandong HealthCare Group, as a leading enterprise in the medical and health industry in Shandong Province, has a solid industrial foundation, strong growth momentum, and notable comprehensive strength and industry influence. He expressed hope for further deepening exchanges between the two sides, leveraging their respective strengths, and exploring new pathways for integrating medical and health services with shipping services, logistics supply chains, and international trade, so as to promote mutual progress, empower each other, and jointly achieve higher-quality development.

Wang Zhenjiang provided an overview of Shandong HealthCare Group's development, business layout, and core strengths. He noted that the Group's main businesses cover key areas such as integrated medical and healthcare services, high-end medical devices, specialised traditional Chinese medicines, and asset management in the health industry. He expressed hope that the two sides would establish a regular communication mechanism and explore cooperation potential in areas such as the international expansion of healthcare industries, cross-border circulation of medical devices, and supply chain collaboration, working hand in hand to advance the national strategies of "Healthy China" and "Building China into a Nation with Strong Transport Network."

The meeting was also attended by representatives from Shinva Medical Instrument, Shandong HealthCare Group Industry-Finance Holdings, Yiyang HealthCare (Shanghai) Materials Development, the Investment Development Department and General Office of Shandong HealthCare Group, and Shandong High-tech Medical Device Innovation Centre; as well as representatives from the Capital & Investment Division and Operations Management Division of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong).
