In active response to the HKSAR Government's "AI Training for All" policy, the "Tribute to the Sea: The Shipping Industry in My Eyes" Generative AI Creation Competition Workshop, organised by COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. / COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and supported by the Hong Kong Marine Department, was held at Hong Kong Baptist University. The event attracted approximately 120 teachers, students, and parents.

The workshop aimed to enhance Hong Kong students' digital literacy and creativity through the integration of AI technology and maritime culture, while guiding young people to explore the significant contributions of the shipping industry.

The atmosphere on site was lively, with teachers and students actively practicing AI content creation. The organisers also presented participants with specialised AI teaching books and cultural creative souvenirs.

The competition features three categories: Primary School (Primary 4 to Primary 6), Secondary School, and University, covering poster design and short video production. The submission deadline is 18:00 on 15 July. A professional judging panel will evaluate entries based on thematic relevance, visual creativity, and technical application. Results are expected to be announced in mid-September, with an awards ceremony and achievement exhibition to be held in October.
