On September 22, Qi Shuping, Chairperson of Hebei Transportation Investment Group, and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and held talks with Qian Weizhong, Chairperson of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), and Zhu Changyu, President of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong).

Qian Weizhong introduced the company's recent production and operations as well as its development plan in light of the "15th Five-Year Plan." He stated that Hebei Transportation Investment Group, as the main force in the construction and operation of transportation infrastructure in Hebei Province and a domestically first-class comprehensive transportation industry group, has continuously improved its expressway network backbone system and vigorously expanded emerging business formats such as smart transportation, modern logistics, new energy, maritime shipping, and the digital industry, with a sound operating and development momentum. He expressed the hope that both sides will further deepen multi-level practical cooperation, fully leverage their respective advantages, focus on areas such as industrial and business synergy, broaden the dimensions of cooperation, and achieve two-way empowerment and coordinated development.

Qi Shuping introduced the basic situation of Hebei Transportation Investment Group as well as its reform and development, industrial layout, and operational and construction achievements in recent years. He stated that Hebei Transportation Investment Group attaches great importance to cooperation with COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). The two sides have a solid cooperation foundation, aligned goals, and fruitful results. He expressed the hope that in the future, both sides will focus on fields such as technological innovation, new energy, shipping services, and investment in and construction of logistics infrastructure to tap cooperation potential, further promote resource connectivity and complementary advantages, jointly achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and make greater contributions together to accelerating the national strategy of building of a country with strong transportation network.

Relevant heads of the Legal and Risk Control Department, the Office, Jingshi Expressway, and Bohai Ocean Shipping of Hebei Transportation Investment Group, as well as Wang Yong, Chief Accountant of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), and relevant heads of its Finance and Accounting Division, Legal and Risk Management Division, Audit and Supervision Division, and Capital and Investment Division, attended the meeting.
