COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) visited Shenzhen International Holdings Limited

On January 21, Chairperson Qian Weizhong of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), and President Zhu Changyu led a delegation to Shenzhen to visit Shenzhen International Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen International"). They held discussions with Chairperson Li Haitao and President Liu Zhengyu of Shenzhen International.

Li Haitao warmly welcomed Qian Weizhong and his delegation, introducing the operational development of Shenzhen International. He stated that Shenzhen International focuses on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic belt as its main strategic regions. The company has gradually established a four-pillar industrial structure encompassing toll roads, logistics, ports, and environmental protection, aiming to become a leading domestic urban infrastructure developer and operator, as well as a builder and promoter of intelligent transportation and logistics industries. He noted that COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) has rich experience in industrial capital investment, and there is vast room for cooperation with Shenzhen International. He expressed hope for further strengthening communication and collaboration to explore diversified cooperation opportunities in more areas, achieving a strong partnership to jointly promote high-quality development.

Qian Weizhong introduced the production operations and future development plans of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). He emphasized that under the goal of building a "world-class shipping technology enterprise" by China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited, COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) is focusing on two major tracks: digital intelligence and green low-carbon initiatives. The company is committed to leading through technological innovation, promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and accelerating the layout of strategic emerging industries such as intelligent shipping services and green new energy for ships, actively cultivating new quality productive forces. He noted that both parties have highly compatible development positioning, strategic visions, business structures, and functions, with significant cooperation potential in logistics supply chains, technological innovation, and industrial capital investment. He expressed hope that this discussion would serve as an opportunity to fully leverage their respective advantages, further deepen cooperation, and jointly explore new opportunities and pathways for collaboration, contributing positively to the new development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area while achieving mutual benefit.

During the visit, Qian Weizhong and his team examined the Li Guang Logistics Park project of Shenzhen International, gaining detailed insights into the logistics industry development of Shenzhen International through on-site visits and presentations.
