On February 28, Dr. Song Chunfeng, Managing Directorof the China Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association, and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and held a meeting with Qian Weizhong, Chairperson of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong).

During the meeting, both parties reflected on their past successful cooperation, expressing gratitude for each other’s long-standing trust and support. They introduced their recent business operations and future development plans, engaging in in-depth discussions on deepening business cooperation, high-end shipping services, digital transformation, green and low-carbon development in shipping, and expanding business in Hong Kong. They also exchanged views on promoting the development of shipping insurance. Both sides agreed to leverage their past cooperation experience and respective advantages, enhance mutual visits and communication, strengthen synergisticcollaboration, further explore innovative cooperation models, expand new business areas, and work together for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, contributing to the development of the high-end shipping service industry and the construction of Hong Kong as an international shipping centre.
