Lam Shu-chit, Chairman of Nan Yip Group, and Delegation Visit COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)

On May 14, Lam Shu-chit, Chairman of Nan Yip Group, and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and held discussions with Qian Weizhong, Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), and Zhu Changyu, President of the company.

Qian Weizhong welcomed Lam Shu-chit and his delegation, providing an overview of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)’s business operations and future development plans. He noted that COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and Nan Yip Group have a long-standing and solid cooperative relationship, with both parties leveraging shared resources and complementary strengths to ensure the steady operation of joint projects. Building on this strong foundation, Qian expressed hope that the two sides would further explore collaboration opportunities in industrial and capital investment, empowering each other to achieve new milestones in high-quality development and setting a new benchmark for cooperation between state-owned and private enterprises.

Lam Shu-chit introduced Nan Yip Group’s business sectors and operational performance, reviewing the achievements of their partnership since the Quanzhou project collaboration in 2007. He emphasized that Nan Yip Group highly values its partnership with COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and acknowledged the latter’s extensive experience in industrial and capital investment. Lam expressed hope that both parties would further leverage their respective strengths to embark on a new journey of mutual benefit and shared success.

Also attending the meeting were Yeung Lin-ka, Director of Nan Yip Group; Leung Hon-chue, Deputy General Manager of Nan Yip Property Group; relevant representatives from the Office of the President of Nan Yip Group; as well as Wang Yong, Chief Accountant of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong); Jia Guangchao, Assistant President; and relevant representatives from the Property Department.
