Senior Vice President Trond Hodne of DNV and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)

On March 10, Trond Hodne, Senior Vice President of DNV, and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), where he held discussions with Chairperson Qian Weizhong and President Zhu Changyu of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong).

Qian Weizhong warmly welcomed Trond Hodne and his delegation, introducing with weight the overall situation of COSCO SHIPPING Group and the recent business developments and achievements of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). He noted that COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) is focusing on a strategic direction of "green, low-carbon, and digital intelligence," actively promoting the construction of an industry chain of marine green new energy. He stated that DNV, as a world-renowned certification and rating agency with a long history and significant influence, possesses leading advantages in maritime services, technical support, energy consulting, and technological innovation. He expressed hope for further strengthening collaboration between the two parties in areas such as research on marine green new energy and intelligent ship services, jointly exploring cutting-edge industry topics, promoting mutual benefit, and supporting the digital transformation and green, low-carbon development of the global shipping industry.
