Chairperson Xiao Ting of Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)

On March 5, Xiao Ting, Chairperson of Bank of Communications (Hong Kong), and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), where he held discussions with Chairperson Qian Weizhong and President Zhu Changyu of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong).

Qian Weizhong welcomed Xiao Ting and his delegation, introducing the business layout of COSCO SHIPPING Group in Hong Kong and the operational and key project developments of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). He noted that COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) is focused on its vision of becoming a world-class shipping technology enterprise, continuously enhancing technological innovation, leveraging digital empowerment to strengthen the main shipping services, and contributing to the green, low-carbon, and sustainable development of the shipping industry by establishing an International Platform for Capital Investment Across Diverse Industries. He expressed hope for further strengthening communication and collaboration in areas such as fund management, integration of production and finance, and information digitisation, rooting in Hong Kong and serving Hong Kong, so as to jointly contribute to consolidating and developing Hong Kong's position as an international shipping centre.

Xiao Ting shared the history, market operations, and shipping finance business of Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) and expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). He stated that Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) has always adhered to the fundamental purpose of providing financial services to the real economy and will fully utilise its comprehensive financial service advantages, focusing on the actual needs of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) to continuously innovate financial service models and enhance service levels.
