Vice Chairperson Zhao Gang of the Harbin Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)
On April 23, Zhao Gang, Vice Chairperson of the Harbin Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and held discussions with Qian Weizhong, Chairperson of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong).
Qian Weizhong welcomed Zhao Gang and his delegation, providing an overview of COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited, its business layout in Hong Kong, and the progress of the key projects of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). He stated that COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) is focused on the vision of the Group to become a world-class shipping technology enterprise, continuously accelerating the layout development of emerging industries and making new strides in industrial innovation. Harbin, as an important node city for revitalising Northeast China, has superior resources, a solid industrial foundation, and tremendous development potential. COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) aims to use this meeting as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, explore cooperation in green new energy, new quality productive forces, and industrial capital investment, delivering central State-owned Enterprise's value to Harbin's high-quality socioeconomic development and modernisation.
Zhao Gang introduced the basic situation and development trends of Harbin. He emphasised that Harbin is always seeking cooperation with outstanding enterprises to attract more high-quality resources for modernisation. He expressed hope for establishing a regular communication mechanism between the two sides and looked forward to COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) leveraging its advantages to deploy investment in Harbin to jointly pursue revitalisation and development. Harbin will continue to create a first-class business environment, providing favourable conditions and quality service support for COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)'s development in the city.
