On January 14, Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Wang Huabin and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), where they held discussions with Chairperson Qian Weizhong and President Zhu Changyu of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), as well as General Manager Li Lin of COSCO SHIPPING Finance Co., Limited.

 



Qian Weizhong warmly welcomed Wang Huabin and his delegation, introducing the business sectors of COSCO SHIPPING Group, the scale of its fleet, its layout in Hong Kong, and the latest developments of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), particularly in emerging industries such as intelligent shipping services and green new energy for ships. He noted that COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) has a long history of cooperation with Bank of China (Hong Kong), with a solid foundation for collaboration. He emphasized that COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) is at a critical stage of transformation and development, hoping that both parties can further innovate their working ideas, strengthen strategic cooperation, and conduct in-depth exploration in areas such as capital investment, overseas industry development, and fund management, empowering each other to promote deep integration and development of banking and enterprise, while playing a greater role in actively serving national strategies and the new development of Hong Kong.

He also introduced the business layout and key development directions of Bank of China (Hong Kong).
