COSCO Jotun Qingdao Factory Expansion

With the continuous business expansion and sustained growth in market demand, Jotun COSCO Marine Coatings (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. has obtained a safety production license of 120 million liters, marking another leap in the company’s production capacity.

At the same time, the new FRC workshop project at the Qingdao Factory has been successfully approved by the government, laying a solid foundation for the production capacity to increase to 160 million liters by 2027 and further consolidating the company’s leading position in the industry.

While increasing production capacity, the Qingdao Factory is also constantly undergoing intelligent upgrades and automation transformations. The company has developed a 5-year plan, aiming to gradually complete a series of automation upgrade projects by 2030, thereby further improving the factory's automation and intelligence levels to achieve higher quality production and development.
