On October 30, the Managing Partner of EY Greater China Markets, Michael Bi, and his delegation visited COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), where they held a meeting with the chairman of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong), Qian Weizhong, and the president, Zhu Changyu.
Qian Weizhong extended a warm welcome to Michael Bi and his delegation, introducing the operations of COSCO SHIPPING in Hong Kong and the development of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). He stated that over the years, the EY team has provided high-quality and efficient services to the company in areas such as taxation and sustainable development. Currently, COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) is undertaking the new positioning and mission of the COSCO SHIPPING Group by focusing on two new tracks and using the "two platforms" construction as a key strategy to promote the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise. He hoped to strengthen communication and synergic collaboration with EY in areas such as digital innovation, management consulting, green and low-carbon initiatives, and state-owned enterprise reform.
Michael Bi shared an overview of EY Greater China and its extensive practical experience accumulated in fields such as digital technology, low-carbon development, and tax and finance, expressing gratitude for COSCO SHIPPING s long-standing recognition and support of EY’s services. He stated that EY will actively cooperate with the development strategy of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) and continue to provide support for its reform and transformation, technological innovation, and green and low-carbon initiatives, contributing high-quality professional services to facilitate COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong)’s high-quality development.
