On 5th December 2019, COSCO SHIPPING International was honored with the “Gold Award” and “Best Investor Relations Team Award” in the Asset ESG Corporate Awards by the judging panel in the gala dinner for the ESG Corporate Awards 2019 hosted by the Asia’s renowned financial magazine, The Asset. This demonstrated that the Company’s persistence and outstanding performance in environmental protection, social responsibility, corporate governance and investor relations was highly acclaimed by capital market.

The Asset ESG Corporate Awards is an annual competition held by The Asset magazine. The Awards are designed to recognise those companies with excellence in financial performance, corporate governance, social responsibility, environmental responsibility and investor relations. The Asset Awards, is one of the most credible awards in Asia. 

In the same period, well-known enterprises such as China Construction Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Mobile, China Unicom, Link, and New World Development also won the "Best ESG Enterprise Gold Award".
