On September 10th, COSCO SHIPPING Hong Kong and the Tianjin Research Institute for Water Transport Engineering (TIWTE) signed a memorandum of cooperation in Tianjin. Mr. Liu, Xianghao, the Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Hong Kong and Mr. Zhao, Hongbo, the Deputy Dean of the TIWTE, were delegated and signed the memorandum . Mr. Zhu, Jianhui, The Chairman and President of COSCO SHIPPING Hong Kong, Mr. Zhang, Huaqin, the Dean of the TIWTE, and Mr. Zhang, Tiejun, the Deputy Dean, witnessed the signing ceremony.

In order to facilitate the national strategy, enhance the depth and breadth of the service industry, and promote the integration of production, education, research and application, COSCO SHIPPING Hong Kong and TIWTE leverage on the platforms and resources of both parties to accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological project results and jointly build a cooperation landscape as a way to carry out strategic communication, in-depth sharing, and collaboration in various fields for mutual success. The two parties signed the "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" earlier, and will carry out scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation in accordance with the principles of "complementarity and mutual benefits".

Zhu Jianhui led a team to visit the TIWTE to carry out high-level exchanges. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on in-depth cooperation arrangements such as cooperation in launching scientific research results transformation projects and collaborative development of related markets, and signed a deepening cooperation memorandum to clarify specific arrangements for future project advancement.

At the symposium, Mr. Zhang, Huaqin introduced the development of TIWTE, and expressed enthusiasm for the two parties to jointly promote the transformation of scientific research results in the future. On behalf of COSCO SHIPPING Hong Kong, Mr.Zhu, Jianhui showed gratitude to the TIWTE for trust and support. He said that the cooperation between the two parties has gradually become clear after many discussions. In-depth research and discussion should be continued to promote the implementation of the project as soon as possible.

Accompanied by the Dean of TIWTE, Mr. Zhang Huaqin and others, Mr. Zhu, Jianhui and his party visited the Lingang large-scale hydrodynamic experiment base of the TIWTE.
